CRDF Announces New Web Site

The Citrus Research and Development Foundation announces the development of a new web site to serve citrus growers and their need for updated information about citrus greening, canker and other diseases.

“We believe the new CRDF web site will be the number 1 site for finding out about citrus greening and canker research.”

The new web site will feature real-time reports of citrus research, updated news about management goals and information. Citrus Health Management Areas will also be a focus of the web site because of their importance in containing spread of the disease. A custom iPhone app developed for the CRDF will also be featured so that growers and others can get breaking news feeds and push notifications about CRDF activities.

Newsletters appearing in Florida Citrus Mutual’s Triangle will be archived on the new web site. Magazine columns will also be archived here, along with white papers about CRDF programs.

The web site is currently being developed by the team of PhotoshopDNA, Steven Rogers, Roy Scott and Kyle Jensen, who specialize in technology, design and Internet communications for the agricultural industry. The full site will be publicly announced on July 1, 2010 through web and print media.
